ReciVeci® strengthens connections at the Latin American Impact Investment Summit (CLIIQ) in Quito

06/2025

On June 4 and 5, Quito was the epicenter of the seventh edition of the Latin American Impact Investing Summit, CLIIQ 2025. More than 250 people committed to the social and environmental transformation of Latin America came together to talk, collaborate and co-create new ways of generating impact. Organized by IMPAQTO, the summit brought together entrepreneurs, investors, NGO leaders, public and private sectors in a space that was experienced as a community in motion rather than as a simple event.

ReciVeci was present with the participation of Lorena Gallardo, Innovation and Sustainability Manager, and Geovanna Polo, Strategic Development Manager, who recently joined the team. Both participated in various activities at the summit, with the opportunity to generate genuine, deep and horizontal links with people and organizations that are committed to systemic change based on collaboration and purpose.

CLIIQ 2025 revolved around three fundamental pillars: gender equity and climate action, technological innovation for sustainable development and collaborative networks for impactful ventures. The conversations addressed topics such as female leadership, artificial intelligence, agrotech solutions, financial inclusion, regenerative models and business culture based on the common good. More than 70 national and international speakers shared ideas and experiences in plenary sessions, panels and workshops.

In the first panel, the environmentalist Gustavo Manrique pointed out that “the currency of Latin America is its living biodiversity” and called for valuing resources from a systemic perspective. Leonardo Maldonado, co-founder of Gulliver, proposed to “make good a daily practice”, and entrepreneurs like Paola Carrillo, of Canopy Bridge, made visible the sustainable economy that is born from Amazonian territories and forest communities.

One thing that filled us with enthusiasm was participating in deep learning spaces, such as the workshop “Measuring to Transform: New Perspectives in Female Entrepreneurship”, provided by 60 Decibels. There, we got to know up close methodologies for measuring social impact with a gender focus, especially in initiatives led by women. We were also inspired by spaces such as closing talk with Silvia Vásquez from Courageous Girls, who shared a powerful vision of leadership from and for women, leaving us with reflections and emotions that we carry with us.

In addition to participating in exchange spaces, ReciVeci was responsible for the management of recyclable waste for the event. This collaboration ensured that recoverable materials were properly separated and channeled to basic recyclers and recyclers, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability lived through daily practice, even in the logistics of impact events.

CLIIQ also had a allies' fair, where enterprises and organizations shared initiatives that promote sustainable development in different areas, from agroecology to financial inclusion.

At ReciveCI, we recognize in CLIIQ a valuable space for building community, share knowledge and strengthen networks that allow us to imagine and act collectively. We bring with us new ideas, connections that are already beginning to blossom and the certainty that profound transformations begin when we meet and listen to each other. We hope to continue participating in future editions, as we have done in previous years, because each CLIIQ leaves us with lessons that inspire us to continue working for a fairer, more collaborative and sustainable Latin America.
