Within the framework of World Environment Day, the first Annual Environmental Care Convention organized by Ecoterra was held, a space designed for celebrate, reflect and act for the protection of nature. The event took place at IMPAQTO La Carolina and brought together people and institutions committed to a common purpose: to save the future of the planet.
Sofía Baque, Alliance and Community Coordinator at ReciVeci®, participated in the convention, reaffirming our commitment to initiatives for real and conscious change. During the day, key issues were addressed on sustainability and environmental impact, highlighting innovations to reduce the use of plastic, challenges in waste management and the impact on marine ecosystems, encouraging the adoption of sustainable solutions.

One of the most inspiring moments was the participation of Nayim Tamarenda, a 21-year-old Shuar boy from Morona Santiago in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Naykim shared her vision on the protection of nature, taking into account the cultural wealth of your community and stressing the importance of connecting ancient traditions with new forms of environmental conservation.
